~An Update~

So, best day of my life happened yesterday.

Midway through telling me my Trig grade sucked, Dad slipped in the little fact that he just bought me a laptop. O.O If you spoke with me at all yesterday, you will have a rough idea of what that did to my insanity level. (Hint: Arian was hyper until she passed out around midnight.)

Physics is way harder than it used to be, and I kind of wanna bang my head against a wall. But I won't, 'cause guess what? I'm getting a laptop.

Joseph's blending into the family life really well, though his smile sometimes surprises me. He's banging a snare in band class (That boy got rhythm.) and he's joined the Football team. (Doing well. He's gonna be one of those popular kids, darn him.) I think he misses Haiti sometimes, he gets that look, ya know? Winter's gonna be icky, poor kid. Oh! Best thing ever- Someone asked Joseph about being African-American and he just gave them a look. "I'm not from Africa." :D I kinda wanna hug that kid. He rocks.

Lessee...sent transcripts into UMKC and company yesterday. Glad to have that done with, though I still have to write an essay for Drury. >_< Ewww...

And I know I've been neglecting you guys with fictional writing lately, like by a factor of a bazillion. I blame physics. :P Good news, the Physique scene is in progress, though I'm having a hard time getting all the characters to mesh together like they should. It's been too long since I wrote on KARAK, I'm gonna have to go back and read some older scenes or something.

My poor TMNT fanfic lost all its reviewers save one (LOVE for the one) when I updated a month or two ago and added some sci-fi(Honestly, Ninja Turtles are believable, but no aliens allowed. *rolls eyes*). So that's on haitus for a while until I figure out what to do with it. Still have loathing for the first couple chapters too, mebbe I'll just rewrite the whole thing. ...I LIKE the alien idea though.

In addition, I have time to kill in this computer application class of mine, so yea. Lots of rambling. I would be honored if anyone actually made it all the way through this thing and left a comment.

So, guess where mi padre is? I'll give you all a hint: Smallish, 3rd world country in the carribean. He had a meeting with the Haitian embassy on thursday, which went well, and has another one on tuesday, which will ideally be the last one before Haiti releases my brother from her corrupt clutches.

I'm not sure what all's gonna change when he does make it home in one piece, but I'm sure life'll be wierd for a while, espicially so for Joseph. Can anyone say 'culture shock'? But, he's a smart kid, and I'm pretty sure he'll adjust quickly, though he might be annoyed by all the relatives he never knew he had fussing over him constantly. XD

Cue ACT

So, summer's been pretteh busy of late, mostly due to everyone's favorite get-into-college-type-scholarship-test....ACT.

Gah!

But I fail less than I did a week ago, and hopefully another couple hard-core days of studying'll put me in a good place.

Family Reunion

I'll be out of town this weekend, going up to Branson to reconnect with the rest of the clan. It's a ritual that's pretty much annual, and generally involves chitchat, barbeque, and human sacrifices.

Kecz final is officialy OVER, for better or for worse. Ladies and gentlemen, my life has just become one thousand percent less stressful. *happy sigh*

In addition, Salsa class is absolutely awesome right now! Despite the fact that I'm directionally challenged, I can actually dance pretty well if my partner can lead worth anything. :D

Ummmm.....nothing massively new since last post, though I am writing, I promise. KARAK first, then my fanfic, depending on which I can get moving on fastest. *shrugs* My brain is weird that way, sometimes I can write, sometimes everything turns out sucky.

Speaking of which, do you guys like the democratic version of bugging Arian until she writes something? XD I got a kick out of it anyways. Prolly keep putting up polls, they're kinda fun. ^^

Heya chicos!

There should be an upside-down exclamation point at the beginning of that sentance, but sadly the keyboard I am using does not carry such luxeries. Good news is, we're writing a thesis paper in comm arts, and I'm running ahead of schedule, by like three days. XD So you guys get an update.

Weeellll....the weather is finally beginning to warm up, and anyone who tells me it won't last I will promptly disembowel.

I need to write soo much on a buncha things. O.O I'll see if I can get something done on KARAK. I feel like my fanfic's crashing and burning. And yes Ashley, I know Babylon needs my attention. *sigh*

As a side note, the program these school computers uses as a blocker- it forbade me from using five out of the ten resources I wanted to use because they smelled religious, but I can browse Megatokyo all I want. Silly Palisade.

I might try some drawing to get the creative juices flowing, but I'm not sure what I'll produce. Remember Venom? Ah, good old wierdness that doesn't make sense.
